Jaymangala Gadh

Jaymangala Gadh is a remarkable historic and spiritual stronghold situated on the banks of the Kanwar Lake in Begusarai, standing as a testament to Mithila's ancient 'Gadh' (fort) culture. The site is primarily revered for its ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi Mangla, a manifestation of Shakti, and is recognized as one of the 52 Shaktipeeths where a part of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen.
